AI-assisted stock analysis
The share analysis service condenses what is happening across listed companies and the indices they form part of into readings a private investor can act on in minutes: trend, volatility and the events that moved them, updated continuously on your dashboard.

1. How the share analysis works
The engine ingests price and volume data for listed equities across the exchanges covered by your plan, together with corporate announcements, index rebalancing notices and macroeconomic releases relevant to UK investors. From this stream it builds readings per asset: the direction and strength of the prevailing trend, the current volatility regime, and a list of dated events with their observed market impact.
A reading is a summary, not a signal to buy or sell. Each one links back to the underlying data, so when a trend reading changes you can see exactly which sessions and which events drove the change. This traceability is deliberate: an analysis you cannot interrogate is an analysis you cannot trust.
Behind the scenes, the same discipline applies to data hygiene. When an exchange corrects a print or a company restates an announcement, the readings rebuild from the corrected source rather than carrying the error forward, and the event list shows the revision rather than silently overwriting history. Boring in the engine room, trustworthy on the dashboard.
2. What the analysis covers
The Basic plan covers core markets: the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250, the main US large-cap indices and the leading European benchmarks, together with the most-watched individual constituents of each. Advanced extends coverage to mid-cap and selected small-cap names, and Premium adds full coverage of the extended universe the engine reads, including sector and factor views that cut across individual companies.
For each covered asset the dashboard maintains the same structure regardless of plan: trend line with strength indicator, volatility band, event list, and your own notes and alert levels. That consistency matters; it means a habit formed watching one share transfers unchanged to the next.
3. Who this suits
The service fits three common situations. The first is the investor who holds funds and individual shares through a broker and wants a faster, better-organised read on conditions before acting through that broker. The second is the more active investor who follows specific companies and wants the monitoring burden lifted: the engine watches every day so you do not have to. The third is the newcomer who wants to learn how markets actually behave, with plain-English readings instead of a wall of numbers.
It also fits a particular UK habit: the portfolio built around FTSE names and dividend income. For income-focused holders, the event readings surface results dates, dividend announcements and index changes in one list, so a quiet holding stays quiet until something actually happens that concerns it.
Who it does not suit: anyone expecting the engine to make decisions or remove risk. If you want a service that trades your capital automatically, this is not that, by design. Your account manager will tell you the same thing on your first call.
4. How to get started
Register with the form on this page and your account manager calls within 24 hours to activate the account and walk through verification. Once verified, connect the accounts you want the engine to read, choose your starting watchlist, three to five names is plenty for the first month, and let the readings accumulate. Deposits from £250 fund the plan; the analysis itself needs no capital to start learning from it.
Most users spend their first week simply watching how readings change day to day against news they already follow. That calibration period costs nothing and prevents the classic beginner error of acting on a reading before understanding what it summarises.
A productive first exercise: pick one company you know well as a customer, find it on the dashboard, and read its last quarter of events alongside the trend reading. Within twenty minutes you will have a feel for what the readings add and, just as usefully, for what they do not claim to know.
5. The readings and tools in detail
Trend readings show direction and strength over three horizons, so you can distinguish a long trend weakening from a short pullback within an intact trend. Volatility readings place current movement in the context of the recent regime, which is what position sizing should actually respond to. Event readings list dated occurrences, results, announcements, index changes, macro releases, with the market's observed reaction, giving you the causal texture that raw charts strip away.
Comparative views cut across single names. Sector readings group companies by industry so you can see whether a move belongs to one firm or to its whole sector; index readings summarise the benchmark itself; and correlation views show which of your holdings tend to fall together, which is the honest test of whether a portfolio is diversified in practice or only on paper.
Around these sit the practical tools: watchlists, per-asset alert levels, the decision log that feeds your audit history, and the weekly summary that compares your logged decisions with outcomes. Everything is exportable, because your records are yours, including at tax time.
Alerts arrive by email with the reading that triggered them, not just the price, so the notification is self-explanatory without opening the dashboard. Digest settings let you choose immediacy per asset: instant for the few you act on, daily roll-up for the rest.
6. Risk management for shares
Shares carry market, gap and company-specific risk. Prices gap overnight and on Monday mornings; a trading update can move a single name while the index sleeps; and a diversified portfolio still falls together in broad drawdowns. The engine's volatility readings exist to size positions against exactly these risks, and the risk disclosure page describes each in full.
Gapping deserves special attention for UK investors. A position closed on Friday teatime and reopened on Monday morning has lived through more than a day of news, and stop levels set with Friday's prices in mind can be filled far from where they were placed. The event calendar in each reading exists partly so that holding a position over a known event date is a choice, not an accident.
Two habits we repeat because they work: never let a single position grow to a size whose worst day would change your behaviour, and write down, before entering, the condition under which you would exit. The audit history will hold you to both.
7. What it costs
Share analysis is included in every plan. Basic at £19 per month covers core markets with a £250 minimum deposit; Advanced at £45 extends the universe with a £1,500 minimum; Premium at £95 covers everything with a £5,000 minimum. Deposits and withdrawals are free, and there are no per-reading or per-alert charges. The full schedule is on the fees page.
Plan changes take effect sensibly: an upgrade applies immediately with the subscription difference charged pro rata, and a downgrade applies from the next billing date so you keep what you have paid for. There is no minimum term on any plan.
8. Questions we are asked about this service
Does the engine pick shares for me? No. It organises information about shares you choose to follow; the choosing and the deciding stay with you.
Is this investment advice? No. The service provides analysis and information, not personal investment advice, and nothing on the platform should be treated as a recommendation to buy or sell a specific security.
Can I use it alongside my existing broker? Yes, that is the most common pattern. Investors typically keep execution and custody with their existing broker and use the platform for analysis, monitoring and record-keeping.
Does it cover AIM and small caps? Advanced and Premium include selected small-cap coverage where the data quality supports honest readings; thinly traded names where prices are unreliable are deliberately excluded rather than approximated.
Can I export my decision log? Yes, in a spreadsheet-friendly format from the dashboard, with dates, assets, reasoning and outcomes. Your records belong to you, including at tax time.
